BATIQUITOS LAGOON FOUNDATION Newsletter Editor - Newsletter Editor
Manage putting together the Batiquitos Lagoon Foundation's (BLF's) newsletter. The hard-copy newsletter is published four times a year. Articles are provided by the BLF's president, board members, and other subject-focused volunteers. An online version is also provided, and internet news blasts are produced. Good editing, grammatical and communications skills are needed. Previous experience in writing and working with different media types (e.g., newsletters, newspapers, web-based communications, publishing) highly desirable. Coordination of printing and assembling the newslwtter, placing address lables on them, mailing the hard-copy newsletter using USPS bulk mailing process is also included in the job,

Regional Task Force on the Homeless Regional Homeless Profile Volunteer
Help our nonprofit (Regional Task Force on the Homeless - RTFH) provide San Diego County with an accurate understanding of the region’s homeless issues. Our reports are distributed to many stakeholders to help identify regional solutions and to initiate demonstrable action plans. In January of 2010, approximately 400 volunteers spread out throughout the county and counted persons who are homeless. This information is published and provided to government officials, the media, and policymakers. What we need? Help with entering data for our reports. Time and dates are flexible but our office is open M-F, 8:00am-5:00pm.
