Greet visitors; provide information to visitors; answer phones; process entrance fees and gift shop sales. Organize and display Museum gift shop merchandise; clean merchandise and cases; prepare labels; price, sort, stock and inventory sales items. Training provided. Restoration Projects

Landscape / Restoration Project Assistant

Restoration Projects focus on maintaining and replacing landscape around the Maidu Museum & Historic Site. Restoration projects are scheduled in the garden area, on the trails, and near the creek. Activities will include planting and watering the gardens; planting in the patio beds; and removing invasive exotic plants on the grounds. Work with restoration team to accomplish these tasks. Learn about native plants and help restore the Maidu Historic Site. The scheduled restoration work days are: Monday mornings. Mission Statement

The mission of the Maidu Museum is to protect, preserve and interpret the cultural and natural heritage of the Maidu Museum and Historic Site and region, while providing programs, exhibits and services that stimulate visitor involvement, enjoyment, learning and support.
