The assistance from volunteers with administrative tasks in not only for Mission Delivery and Income Development activities, but also for coordination and development of our volunteer force. These positions include everything from light clerical, telephone answering and data entry to unpaid internships.

Building Volunteer Capacity Team
This group of volunteer “Connectors” assists with the placement of new volunteers. This includes providing information on upcoming “New Volunteer Orientations” and connecting the new volunteer to the appropriate program or activity based on the skills and interest.

Call Back Volunteer
Providing Up-to-date- cancer information. Locally, community resource volunteers are trained to call back people who have contacted us through our 800#. By doing so, they establish relationships and follow up to see if we can help with any additional services or needs, (Additional Patient Program Training is required.)

Discovery Shop Volunteer
Volunteers needed to help our local Discovery Shops to pave the way to a cancer-free tomorrow. Volunteers are needed for sales, in the backroom, and as cashiers. It’s more than just a shop – it’s a unique quality resale experience! Locations – Redlands and Upland areas. (Please contact: Patricia Rupert for additional information)

Look Good Feel Better Volunteer
In partnership with locally trained, licensed volunteer cosmetologist and estheticians, we teach woman to cope with skin changes and hair loss using cosmetic and skin care products donated by the cosmetic industry. (Additional Patient Program Training is Required.)

Man to Man Volunteer
Man to Man offers a one-on-one visitation program for newly diagnosed prostate cancer patients as well as support through self-help groups. Volunteer are specially trained to visit men during their continuum of prostate cancer treatment. (Additional Program Training is required.)

Road to Recovery
Coordinators along with a core of volunteer drivers are needed to provide transportation to cancer patients to their treatments. (Additional Patient Program Training is required.)
