In any corps there may be all or some of the following groups which are known collectively as Women's Ministries.
A Fourfold group is typically the Home League program, but may operate under another name. A fourfold group meets weekly for a minimum of 44 weeks a year and has a balanced program of worship, service, and education.
Focus groups are formed in response to specific needs or interests.
Outreach groups are intended as short-term groups or initiatives to reach women and do not maintain memberships. An outreach group may evolve into a focus group.
Each Friday, we need volunteers to prepare approximately 40-60 sandwiches for our mobile feeding program which delivers food to the community each Saturday morning. This project can be done alone, or in a small group of no more than three people. Volunteers
will spend around 30 minutes to an hour preparing the sandwiches needed for distribution.
Please note: While the shift time listed begins at 2:30, you're welcome to complete the activity any time between 2:30 and 4:30pm (our offices close at 4:30). If you plan on coming in a bit later, simply shoot me a call or email so we can be prepared for
you at the later time. If you choose to come in a bit later, please reserve the shift listed under the 2:30 time we don't double book anyone.
This is a great opportunity to get involved with our mobile feeding project. For any questions, please contact our Volunteer Manager, Kristen Weaverling at 319-364-9131 ext. 107.
