Fourth of July Committee

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Fourth of July Committee this position is for you! 

The Fourth of July Committee helps plan the festivities that occur on July 3 and July 4 including park activities and the parade. There are lead positions such as Chair, Parade Coordinator, and Parks Coordinator or you can serve as a general committee member. if you would like more specific information please contact Kyle Schnurr at kschnurr@cityofsierramadre.com. 

New members to the Committee will need to attend a general orientation to familiarize themselves with the event.

The commitment is from January to July/August and the Committee meets once a month and sometimes two as the event gets closer.

Mount Wilson Trail Race (MWTR)

Mount Wilson Trail Race Committee

If you are interested in helping plan the Mount Wilson Trail Race then this Committee is for you! 

The Mount Wilson Trail Race Committee coordinates the race and all activities associated with it including the training runs, youth training runs, pasta dinner, and more. There are  many areas of oversight including sponsorship, artwork, souvenirs, website, training runs, and more. If you would like more specific information please contact Kyle Schnurr at kschnurr@cityofsierramadre.com. 

New members to the Committee will need to attend a general orientation to familiarize themselves with the event.

The commitment is from October to June and the Committee meets once a month as a group with some subcommittee meetings as well.

Senior Center Contract Instructors

Class is held Fridays from 12:45-1:30pm at the Senior Center.
