The Salvation Army - Chicago Midwest

After School Program - Music Instructor

Music is an integral part of The Salvation Army here in the Midwest Corps Community Center.  We have a growing and thriving music program that allows underprivilaged children and individuals throughout Chicago to learn and explore parts of music they ordinarily do not have the means to explore.

As a part of the music program, we are looking for Music Instructors to join our commitment to continue to provide hope and joy to communities in need through music. Our music programs run after school. We are willing to work with a flexible schedule and look forward to speaking with applicants soon!

If you have a gift or interest in music that you'd like to share, please contact Charlene Williams at (312)733-4801 and inquire about openings we have for Music Instructors in your community. Teaching experience is a plus, but not required. Please have basic music skills.

We are looking for individuals and groups with various levels of musicianship and look forward to working with you! This volunteer position is great for students and young adults too!
