These special volunteers come to The Salvation Army as volunteers via the justice system. Violent crimes, sex crimes, repeated drug offenders, crimes of theft are unable to complete their community service hours with The Salvation
Army due to the vulnerable populations we serve. Client safety is a number one priority. All community service workers MUST make contact with the Volunteer Director before signing up.
This position is for individual volunteers over the age of eighteen who are accompanying Shut-In Sunday drivers, who want to spread joy and deliver a gift to the elderly and shut ins. In order to go with the driver, a
background check is required. All back ground information is private and not shared with other people or agencies. Volunteers
will not be accepted the day of the event. This event occurs on Sunday, December 2, 2012. . Please bring your letter or e-mail confirmation letter the day of the event. You will receive your letter or e-mail from the Volunteer Department

We need turkey carvers to help de-bone turkeys after they are cooked. This is set for Tuesday, November 26, 2013 beginning at 12:00 p.m. You may be on your feet the entire time or sitting. Wear appropriate shoes; clothes you
will not mind getting food on. Please bring your letter or e-mail of confirmation...it will be your ticket to serve.
