Back-to-School Shopper

Each year hundreds of children go to school unprepared to learn. The Salvation Army is determined to help families in need by providing back-to-school clothes through the Leaders Launching Learners program. We need shoppers to escort children through Walmart, assist in selecting clothes, and track the cost of the items to keep it within the $80 budget. Volunteers should be 16 or older.

Date: Thursday, August 8
Time: 8 a.m. - 10 a.m.
Location: Walmart, 850 East County Rd E, Vadnais Heights

Once you have signed up, you will be assigned and a confirmation email with a volunteer brief and a map will be emailed to you. All volunteers will be given a t-shirt to wear for this event, so please indicate if you will need a new shirt and size in your volunteer profile.  If you have a large group, please call 651-746-3427 to schedule.

Target School Spree Shopper

As part of the Target School Spree program with The Salvation Army, children in need have the opportunity to receive new school clothes. On Tuesday, August 13, we need volunteers to escort children through the store, assist in selecting clothes, and track the cost of the items to keep it within the $80 budget.
