This craft position will help assist in the set up, take down, implementation, and supervising a bug lab Station. This may include the aquatic lab (pond dipping), Worm Composting Lab, Butterfly Lab, and the Diploma Station! You will be rotated throughout the labs during your shift. Adventure awaits! Join our story time team of volunteers and read to children and their parents at John Janzen Nature Centre. This is your opportunity to delight and captivate the young and old!

You would provide a quality story time experience for patrons to enjoy and enrich their lives through reading and creating stories together.  

Your responsibilities would be:

- Set-up and Take-down

- Read Stories

- Lead Story Creation Time

- Present any Educational Information as Outlined by    

  Volunteer Services

- Provide a Positive and Safe Atmosphere for Participants 

Requirements:

- Ability to create and maintain a positive and safe atmosphere for participants

- Interest and ability to storytelling

- Ability to carry out a program independent of supervision

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service sensitivity

- 16 years of age or older

Time Commitment:
