The Salvation Army - Madison, WI

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The food pantry is constantly receiving donations that must be sorted and readied for distribution. Volunteers organize resources, keep order in public places, assist clients with their needs and pick up food and supplies from participating local businesses.

SPECIFIC DUTIES: Sign in at the volunteer log at the start of each shift.
Welcome clients and donors upon arrival.
Assist in carrying donations into the building.
Organize and sort donations; keep donation areas clean and clear.
Prepare food bags for distribution to clients.

QUALIFICATIONS: You will have direct contact with our clients; we are seeking
individuals that are compassionate and sensitive to clients need. Must be able to work well with others. Must possess the physical ability to carry, sort, and stock food.

SCHEDULE:
Monday 10:00am to 1:00pm

Tuesday 12:00pm to 3:00pm

Wednesday 10:00am to 1:00pm

Thursday 12:00pm to 3:00pm

Friday 3:00pm to 6:00pm
